How many modules

Cost scales almost linearly — Enapter's model is "add units," so a 100 kg/day plant is roughly ~40 modules plus shared balance-of-plant.

Balance-of-plant & install

Water treatment, drying, storage, compression, and U.S. electrical/permitting work can add 20–60% on top of the raw stack price.

Incentives

Federal clean-hydrogen production credits (45V) and investment credits (48E), plus state programs, can materially lower effective net cost — confirm current eligibility.

Service & stack life

Multi-year service contracts and eventual stack refresh are ongoing costs — factor them into total cost of ownership, not just the sticker price.
