Bloom's flagship electrolyzer splits steam rather than liquid water, using the same solid-oxide fuel-cell technology behind its Energy Servers. Running hot pushes electrical efficiency well above low-temperature PEM and alkaline systems.

Bloom deploys in megawatt increments; you add blocks to reach the target plant size. A single ~1 MW block anchors pilots and distributed sites, then multiplies for utility- and industrial-scale hydrogen.

Solid-oxide runs on steam, so the surrounding kit differs from cold-water electrolyzers: you need a heat/steam source, high-purity feedwater, and downstream drying, storage, and compression.
